There are some Festival dinners that truly make us go, “wow.” That word pretty much sums up this one, which is being headlined by a fierce foursome of chefs of wonderfully diverse backgrounds. It kicks off with Kevin Fink and Tavel Bristol-Joseph, the supremely gifted co-owners (and Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef, respectively) of five very different – and equally excellent – restaurants throughout Austin (Emmer & Rye, Hestia, Kalimotxo, Henbit, and TLV). The two Food & Wine Best New Chefs will be joined by James Beard Award winner Erick Williams of Virtue, the sophisticated restaurant in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood that is redefining Southern American regional cooking for modern-day diners. CJ Jacobson of Miami’s Aba (“father” in Hebrew) anchors this highly collaborative group with his fresh approach to Mediterranean fare. (Fun fact: Aba originated in Chicago and will soon open a third location in Austin, making this dinner quite the culinary triangle, geographically speaking.) Join this award-winning relay team of tastemakers at Bal Harbour’s newest hotspot as they carry your taste buds through a multi-course menu that promises to be one for the record books.

All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
