Puerto Rican chef Jose Enrique has long been one of the driving influences behind the country’s thriving culinary scene and after this exclusive SOBEWFF® lunch alongside Chef Michael Schwartz, you’ll understand why. The James Beard semifinalist, who worked in New York, Florida, and Louisiana before returning to Puerto Rico to open his eponymous restaurant in 2007, is known for his thoughtfully crafted menus that pay homage to fresh local produce. The same can certainly be said of the James Beard Award-winning Schwartz, whose penchant for bold Latin American flavors and coastal ingredients remains at the center of his breathtaking waterfront restaurant, Amara at Paraiso. Join these two talented ingredient-driven chefs for an afternoon filled with local flavors and island getaway vibes.

All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
