Description

South Florida’s 2008 James Beard Award-winning culinary sweetheart Michelle Bernstein (Best Chef: South) is the star chef and restaurateur behind Miami hot spots Cafe La Trova, Sweet Liberty, La Cañita (and coming soon: Sra. Martinez Miami in 2024) is known for her bright Latin flavors. For this SOBEWFF® dinner she’ll be teaming up with the legendary Jonathan Waxman whose career highlights include stints at A-list restaurants including Chez Panisse, Michael’s in Santa Monica, Jams in NYC, Barbuto in NYC, Jams at 1 Hotel Central Park, Baffi in Atlanta. The pair will be joined by Cecconi’s Executive Chef, Sergio Sigala, who never fails to impress with enticing dishes that evoke a refined sense of comfort and conviviality. These three will for sure transport you to a new level of social and culinary cool.

100% of net proceeds from the Festival benefit students of the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
