Description
Step into living history with Pat's King of Steaks®! They are the pioneers and original creators of the iconic cheesesteak sandwich. Founded by Pat Olivieri in 1930, this legendary establishment has a fascinating origin story. It all began when Pat had a humble hot-dog stand in South Philadelphia. One day, his culinary curiosity led him to seek something different for his lunch. He grabbed some chopped meat from the local butcher, grilled it on his hot dog grill, placed the savory meat on a fresh Italian roll, and dressed it with onions. And thus, the legendary steak sandwich was born! As time went on, the addition of cheese transformed this delectable creation into the renowned Philly Cheesesteak. Fast forward 94 years, and Pat's is still thriving under the ownership and operation of the Olivieri family at their original location in South Philadelphia. Now, we are delighted to bring a taste of Philly to you through this exclusive Pat’s King of Steaks demonstration and dining experience. You're in for a treat!
