Description
Marc Vetri's wildly popular Fiorella Pasta Bar in Philadelphia and Las Vegas is popping up in Miami for one night only on Sunday, February 26. For this first-of-its-kind event, featuring 4 dinner seating times, Vetri will recreate Fiorella's pasta magic at SGWS Wynwood's open kitchen venue, live in person. This timed event will last 75 minutes.
It’s hard not to be impressed by Marc Vetri, both in terms of the sheer longevity and sustained excellence of his career. (He’s also just a great guy all-around!) The James Beard Award winner and Philadelphia native, who has racked up an astonishing 15 JBF nominations within a span of 17 years, is arguably one of our country’s foremost interpreters of Italian cuisine. Trained in some of the finest kitchens in Italy and the U.S., Vetri owns and operates numerous restaurants including his highly influential Vetri Cucina, which is set to celebrate 25 years of business in 2023. One of his latest ventures – a pasta bar called Fiorella in Philadelphia and Las Vegas – is a love letter to..well, pasta, of course…but also to the Fiorella family, who owned and operated Fiorella’s original incarnation as a high-quality sausage business for over a century before selling the storefront to Vetri in 2020. For this first-of-its-kind SOBEWFF® event, he’ll recreate much of the magic that is, as it always has been, at the heart of Fiorella’s success. The demonstration kitchen at SGWS Wynwood, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits’ state-of-the-art hospitality center, will provide guests with an intimate, in-depth view of Vetri’s remarkable talents as he serves up a sumptuous menu devoted to one of the culinary world’s most reliable comfort foods.
