Triple Smash Burger
Makes 1
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp yellow mustard
½ small onion, grated
1 Tbsp hot sauce of your choice
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 burger bun
2 Tbsp butter
3 Schweid & Sons Signature Blend Burgers, packed tightly into balls
3 slices American cheese
Sliced dill pickles, optional
Preheat a cast iron skillet or flat top griddle to medium high heat. Make the special sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, mustard, grated onion, hot sauce and worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
Increase the heat to high. Butter buns and quickly toast on the griddle. Remove and set aside. Place three burgers on flat top and flatten with a metal spatula. Allow to cook for a couple minutes, then spoon 1-2 Tbsp of your special sauce onto burgers and flip. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes, then add a slice of cheese to each burger patty. Once melted, stack burgers and plan on bun. Top with additional special sauce and pickles if you like!
