Adrianna Colon
Chef Adrii is a Guyanese/Puerto Rican female who was born and raised in Spanish Harlem, NY. Who really went to school for Hospitality but later on in life Catering found her. She realized with her energy and type of lifestyle she enjoyed that catering was where to start. Her drive and dedication was then the push she needed to create Adrii’s Kitchen catering in 2018. She took all her favorite traditional cuisines from her household/ neighborhood and puts her own personal twist on each. She adds flavor, love and a dash of creativity in each dish that goes out.
Becoming a mother in 2014, change the way she viewed food. It wasn’t just food anymore, it was a opportunity to show her craft but now she needed to also provide a meal everyday for this new addition. That addidtion, her son is now one of the biggest supporters she has. She was determined to learn how to cook and that made her fall in love with culinary arts. Someone once told her, “find what you love to do, and find a way to make an living off of it.” and she did that!
Adrianna made the personal health choice about 11 years ago to stop eating beef and/or pork and made that reflect her menus and customers love it. It’s a great health choice but yet you still get to eat what you love. Growing everyday as a chef/ owner, is everything she always wanted. She found her place in this world and she hope to help others like herself do the same.
