Alexis Nikole Nelson
Alexis Nikole Nelson is a forager and outdoor educator using her platform to yell about all the edible plants hiding in plain sight! Whether she’s teaching audiences which seaweeds are delish or turning acorns into cheese, she does so with a song and a smile. While always lighthearted, Alexis uses her interests in foraging to connect with and educate on African American and Indigenous food traditions that have historically been repressed. Her foraging tips, recipe videos, and food history lessons have led Alexis to amass over 5 million dedicated fans across platforms.
