Antonios Minadakis
Antonios ‘Tony’ Minadakis is the chef and co-owner of Jimmy’s Famous Seafood. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Jimmy’s has been a local landmark for 48 years. A first generation Greek-American, Tony has been featured on Beat Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri’s DDD numerous times, and Travel Paradise to name a few. After losing their father at a young age, Tony and his two brothers started making headlines with their passion to great food and loyal customer following.
Today Jimmy’s Famous Seafood employs over 200 people, ships their seafood all over the USA, operates 5 food trucks, and has an expanded capacity of over 700 seats. Chef Tony has also curated a menu for their meal prep company named Jimmy’s Famous Meals that they started in 2015. With such a vast audience, his cooking style is very diverse but respectful to the integrity of ingredients.
Frequently visited by celebrities, Jimmy’s has also captivated a huge social media audience, and is the preferred crab cake and official partner of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. Their philanthropic efforts have been spotlighted throughout the years and most recently started their own restaurant relief fund named the “Famous Fund.” With the help of their loyal customer base, athletes, and celebrities, they were able to raise nearly $500,000.00 for restaurants affected by Covid-19 regulations.
