Meet Gail and Ron, the dynamic duo behind The Dutch Fry, their shared passion for one of the world’s most beloved comfort foods – Fries! gave life to the idea.
After moving to FL finding authentic Flemish fries was impossible. The concoction of growing up with a strong Dutch heritage, missing the Dutch Street food scene from The Netherlands and graduating with a degree in hospitality management fueled their culinary curiosity and desire to turn their passion into a business even more.
The Dutch Fry was finally born in 2022 as a Pop Up that specializes in Flemish fries and other tasty Dutch street foods. The main difference between their fries and regular fries is the frying process. The twice fried fries have a nice crispy and golden outside with a fluffy inside which creates the perfect fry that you just can’t stop eating. Another crowd favorite we must mention is the Braised Flemish beef.
Over the last year and half Dutch Fry has popped up all over FL for various events and can be found every Wednesday at their usual post in Gateway Market, Sunny Isle Beach. Other weekly adventures are posted on their socials.
