Cindy is behind 8 award-winning concepts in the US and the Caribbean and a true whiz of infusing island flavors into what she calls “cuisine of the sun.” Her cuisine is touted as “the best Caribbean restaurant in South Florida” by USA Today, The New York Times, London Times, Chef Magazine and Eater, who named Cindy “Chef of the Year” in 2012. “When I was approached by Manny Portuondo to create a menu for his treasured Cerveceria La Tropical, I jumped at the opportunity. After years of creating white table cloth concepts, Cuban Caribbean tapas for this project was rejuvenating.” – Cindy
