Julio Bertoni
Julio Bertoni is a 3rd generation gelato maker in his family. In the year 2000, Julio opened the first gelato shop in Miami called Bertoni Gelato. Julio was one of the first Gelato Masters to open Gelatarias and has won 4 awards naming his gelatos, the best gelatos of all of Florida. In addition to this, Julio also supplies gelato to the top hotels and restaurants in Miami and in 2012 Julio won the Entrepreneur of the year award from the Greater Miami Chambers of Commerce.
In 2018 Kwon Jin Lee contacted Julio and told him his vision to fuse gelato and alcohol. At first, Julio was very surprised and taken aback by such an innovative, forward thinking, and revolutionary idea. Today, Julio is in charge of the factory and all its manufacturing. Julio pays the utmost attention to our gelato by choosing only the highest quality ingredients paired with alcohol.
