Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Oscar’s love for his country & local cuisine started at a very young age – he recalls fond memories of trips to the local market with his parents to shop for the freshest ingredients, to special moments in the kitchen, where they’d often cook many meals together! Now 25 years in New York City, you can find Oscar proudly representing his country & culture through tacos, as Tacombi’s Culinary Director & Master Taquero – fun fact, many of Tacombi’s most popular recipes have been created & perfected by Oscar.
