Executive Chef at Diplomat Prime
Rashaad Abdool is the Executive Chef at Diplomat Prime, a luxury boutique steakhouse inside The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, Rashaad oversees menu development and maintains the premier level of quality that Diplomat Prime is known for.
While obtaining his degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Rashaad began his culinary career at L&L Market Bistro where he finished as executive sous chef. Upon graduation, Rashaad worked at several notable restaurants in South Florida, most recently at Stephen Starr’s Steak 954 where he held the position of executive sous chef.
At Diplomat Prime, Rashaad will use his fine-dining expertise to create a memorable experience for guests, focusing on keeping the menu delicate, approachable and unique. With Rashaad overseeing the kitchen, guests will enjoy a variety of prime beef aged in-house, seasonally-driven seafood dishes and unique shareable plates.
Today, Rashaad resides in Fort Lauderdale with his fiancé and two Dobermans. When he is not in the kitchen, Rashaad enjoys spending quality time with his family, watching movies and going fishing.
