Chef Revella C. Hadley
As a Florida native, Revella C. Hadley transitioned her love for cooking “down home” style meals to a business catering “soulful cuisines” for families, entertainers and companies.
Chef Hadley is Owner and Executive Chef of Black Swan Special Events located in Pompano, FL. She is a graduate of Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and Leadership Broward; obtained certification in Meetings and Events Management from Florida Atlantic University; and continued her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale to further enhance her catering business.
Her initial exposure to the restaurant industry was as a teenage worker. She later became enthralled with the restaurant business while assisting her father in his restaurant known for its popular and savory barbeque ribs. In her father’s footsteps, she is now known for the same specialty acquired from her father.
Chef Hadley is also known for specializing in volume meals. One of her major projects was being selected by the Miami Dolphins Foundation to cater meals to the under-served communities during the pandemic which she delivered with great pride.
As the Chef of Choice for promoters and venues, she provides backstage catering services for entertainers and crew as well as featured Chef for construction projects catering for their “top off” events. Those projects included North Broward Hospital and Terminal Four Fort Lauderdale /Hollywood International Airport.
Additionally, she catered events for the U.S. Navy for drill weekends; and Emergency Food Services for Broward County Water and Waste Services.
As a seasoned Chef with an established catering business and clientele, she is on track to taking her business to another level as one of the most sought after entertainment and corporate Chefs in South Florida.
