Shaun Whyte
Born in Boston, MA, I moved to South Florida in 2002 with my mom. I grew up an active dancing and playing basketball, but always had an overbearing love for cooking. Attended Coral Springs High School and graduated from Florida Atlantic university with a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Upon graduation, I went to straight into the workforce not really knowing what I was going to do. Shortly, I began to work with the City of Boca Raton, and picked up some luxury retail and sale experience the mall working for company such as Versace, Burberry, and many other high-end brands. As the years went by, life became frustrating always living check to check until 2020 when I met the love of my life, Catherine. She has a strong business background and pushes me to really take my cooking skills to next level. From then, I had complete pivot as to what I wanted for myself, so I left all my jobs gave up everything I was doing and started fully functioning my own business “Shaun’s Cooking” in August 2021. Currently I’ve been operating my own local street pop-ups and catering events all between Miami-Dade and West Palm Beach counties serving all different types of communities one by one.
