Description
When the MICHELIN Guide announced its list of Florida restaurants in June of 2022, it came as no surprise that L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon was left shining brightly at the top, singled out as the only two-starred restaurant in the entire state. It’s not just that this ultra-sleek Miami hotspot – part of The Bastion Collection brand of restaurants – dons the name of one of the most distinguished chefs of our time (the late Joël Robuchon, who racked up an astounding 32 Michelin stars over the course of his illustrious career). No, the greatest achievement of this meticulously run restaurant is that it has managed to carry out Monsieur Robuchon’s legacy while continuing to push the boundaries of fine dining in new and exciting ways. The same combination of technical mastery and theatrical whimsy is evident at The Bastion Collection’s other Design District favorite, Le Jardinier, which picked up a well-deserved Michelin star this past year for its sophisticated vegetable-forward menu. At this extraordinary SOBEWFF® dinner, Chef Robuchon’s protégés – Alain Verzeroli and Salvatore Martone, who serve as The Bastion Collection’s venerable Culinary Director and Executive Pastry Chef, respectively – will curate an exquisite SOBEWFF® menu of modern French cuisine that illustrates the full measure of high-end hospitality.
