One of Paris’s fastest rising patisserie stars is heading to SOBEWFF® for an exclusive master class that will put your pastry skills to the ultimate test. We’re of course talking about Yann Couvreur, the celebrated pastry artist who has amassed over 400,000 Instagram followers thanks to the breathtakingly beautiful patisserie he constructs with near-surgical precision. Celebrated for his inspired spins on classic pastries, Couvreur has received particular praise for his contemporary version of the most famous French dessert, the tart. For this interactive class at Couvreur’s newly opened Wynwood outpost (his first U.S. location), he’ll provide an artful lesson in confectionery engineering, complete with step-by-step instructions for preparing an elegant tart fit for a patisserie window in Paris.
All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
