Sometimes the greatest meals are crafted by the most unlikeliest of pairings. That’s certainly the case with this inspired Festival dinner, which combines the very best of Chinese and Italian flavors. For many seasoned diners, Michael White has been the definitive word on Italian gastronomy since he burst onto the New York culinary scene nearly 20 years ago. As one of the country’s most decorated chefs – with career-defining successes and countless awards as the Head Chef of Altamarea Group’s roster of restaurants including Marea, Ai Fiori, and Vaucluse – he has certainly claimed his rightful spot in the culinary canon. For one night only, the James Beard Award winner will team up with Joe Ng, the dim sum master who uses a distinctively locavore approach to reimagine Chinese cuisine. The centerpiece of Ng’s partnership with the late great Ed Schoenfeld is, as it always has been, RedFarm and for this exclusive SOBEWFF® dinner, the restaurant’s Miami outpost will serve as the ideal spot for his cross-cultural exchange of flavor with Chef White. Like the Chinese philosophical concept of yin and yang, this sensational dinner finds the essential balance in two opposite but interconnected forces.

Italy is renowned as one of the wine countries with the greatest and most enduring histories. The generational shift within Italian wineries has been a recurrent theme, particularly with one of the most esteemed estates reaching a crucial turning point in their succession journey.  Ethica Wines, as an Italian wine specialized importer, has its roots deeply ingrained in the fertile soil of Italian winemaking and, throughout the years, has been focusing on a very specific mission: to partner with wineries that not only embody a rich heritage but also hold the potential to be the vanguards of innovation and quality growth, as much as the protagonist of the future of Italian wine.

We invite you to join us on an unprecedented Italian wine journey through some of the most remarkable wine regions, where you will have the opportunity to meet new talented generations of winemakers from prosecco's biodiversity enhanced by La Gioiosa, to niche sustainable wine making at the border between Italy and Slovenia by Movia family winery.   You will also discover the Anselmi family reinventing wine in Soave, Veneto, to dreaming big and bold in Piemonte thanks to Cordero di Montezemolo's 18-generation winery and Borgogno, pushing beyond Barolo. Not to forget the charm and challenge of Tuscany: Casanova di Neri, enriching the history of Brunello, and Fattoria le Pupille, ennobling Sangiovese and Super Tuscans in the South of Tuscany. Italian Classics never go out of fashion, we are confident their future will shine even brighter than their past!

Featured Wines: La Gioiosa Prosecco Asolo DOCG NV Movia Puro ZGP Brda 2017 Anselmi San Vincenzo 2022 Borgogno Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC Derthona 2020 Cordero di Montezemolo Barolo DOCG Monfalletto 2019 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2019 Fattoria le Pupille Toscana IGT Saffredi 2020

There’s something almost sacred about really good barbecue. Perhaps it’s the patience required to cook it low and slow until it’s been burnished, browned, and rendered impossibly tender. Or the subtle yet oftentimes substantial differences that make up each chef’s proprietary sauce. Whatever the case may be, we’ve always found a way to highlight the best of this sweet and smokey favorite and this master class hosted by Apocalypse BBQ. Incredible Apocalypse BBQ origin story: In 2020, they emerged during the Pandemic. Like a phoenix from the ashes! Since day one, they have been proving that they are master crafters of extraordinary BBQ. Let’s face it – sushi master classes aren’t exactly a novel concept. But a sushi master class curated by David Grutman?! Pass the chopsticks, please. We know that the hospitality mogul isn’t a sushi chef but as is the case with all of his restaurants, taste – both in flavor and in presentation – is of paramount importance. And that’s exactly what we’re after at this exclusive SOBEWFF® class and lunch hosted by Gekkō, the moody jewel-toned Japanese-inspired steakhouse and lounge in Brickell, which Grutman co-founded with GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist Bad Bunny earlier this year, sets the stage perfectly. The name "Gekkō" translates to "moonlight" in Japanese, and it provides the ideal, vibey atmosphere for mastering the art of crafting the restaurant's visually stunning sushi at home. In this interactive class and lunch, you'll delve into the intricacies of preparing, filling, rolling, plating, and serving the most extraordinary sushi creations. As the afternoon concludes, you'll be treated to a sumptuous lunch that puts your newfound skills to the ultimate test – the taste test!

Miami in the house! Nothing makes us prouder than showcasing homegrown superstars who live and work in our backyard. So run, don’t walk to this brunch for a true taste of The 305 – brought to you by a local SoFlo powerhouse trio. Giorgio Rapicavoli is an acclaimed chef and owner of the wildly popular Eating House in Coral Gables (new location on Giralda Avenue) as well Luca Osteria in Coral Gables. By the time Rapicavoli reached 28, he had already led at a handful of respected restaurants in Miami, was lauded as the city’s first winner of Food Network’s “Chopped” and killed it with his Eating House pop up, before making it a permanent fixture. Now, having launched a second successful restaurant, Taperia Raca, in Miami’s MiMo district, and boasting a “Chopped Champions” win, Rapicavoli is hotter than ever. Pablo Zitzmann started as a line cook at Señora Martínez by Michelle Bernstein, then at Nobu, under Chef Thomas Buckley. Zitzmann staged around NYC before landing a sous gig at Matador Room and Market at EDITION by Jean-Georges Vongerichen. In 2014, he opened No Name Chinese in South Miami. In 2020, when the pandemic crippled the industry, he launched his own business – Zitz Sum – a tribute to his nickname and love of dim sum. He cooked out of his home until 2021, when Zitzmann’s dumplings found a kitchen and a home of their own in Coral Gables. Eileen Andrade is the chef and restaurateur behind three of Miami’s most celebrated fusion restaurants: Finka Table & Tap, Amelia’s 1931 and Barbakoa. All three embrace Korean and Latin American flavors. Joining forces for this special S

Step into living history with Pat's King of Steaks®! They are the pioneers and original creators of the iconic cheesesteak sandwich. Founded by Pat Olivieri in 1930, this legendary establishment has a fascinating origin story. It all began when Pat had a humble hot-dog stand in South Philadelphia. One day, his culinary curiosity led him to seek something different for his lunch. He grabbed some chopped meat from the local butcher, grilled it on his hot dog grill, placed the savory meat on a fresh Italian roll, and dressed it with onions. And thus, the legendary steak sandwich was born! As time went on, the addition of cheese transformed this delectable creation into the renowned Philly Cheesesteak. Fast forward 94 years, and Pat's is still thriving under the ownership and operation of the Olivieri family at their original location in South Philadelphia. Now, we are delighted to bring a taste of Philly to you through this exclusive Pat’s King of Steaks demonstration and dining experience. You're in for a treat!

The origin of Marqués de Murrieta winery is also the origin of Rioja. Don Luciano Murrieta, applying techniques learned in Bordeaux, made the first Rioja wine in 1852, with the intention of crafting the finest possible wines with great ageing potential. Today, Vicente Dalmau, Cebrián-Sagarriga, 11th Count of Creixell, has actualized the historic winery and its 740-acre vineyard in the heart of Rioja Alta. From 2018, the wines are produced in one of the world’s most modern wineries helping the acclaimed winemaker Maria Vargas, to pursue her quest for excellence.

In this masterclass, Arthur de Lencquesaing, International Director of Marqués de Murrieta, will introduce the tasting with the Albariño Pazo Barrantes from the historical Galician estate, which has been in the hands of the Cebrián-Sagarriga family since 1511, and continue with the Riojan estate, with the signature wine Marqués de Murrieta, then moving to the special selection Gran Reserva and pursuing with the three single vineyards, the white Capellanía, the iconic Castillo Ygay and finally, the "Super Riojan" Dalmau.
