In 2009, a mature version of Martha realized that her path was to follow her father’s footsteps. As a full-time employee for Carrier InterAmerica Corp. this job was not enough to keep her energetic self away from learning the ropes of being involved with “El Mago de las Fritas”, a business her parents established in 1984. It took her a few years before she was immersed into the world of cooking; in retrospect, she would not have it any other way.
This experience brought her into a whole different world that has truly encouraged strength and passion within her. She has had the opportunity to participate and be interviewed by the Miami Herald, Food Network, Cooking channel, Travel Channel and many local TV shows to expose their delicious Fritas (Cuban hamburger) to an international audience and palette.
Martha always says that her accomplishments and achievements are always supported by her loved ones and most importantly by her customers. “I am hopeful to continue his legacy and bring all foodies, a juicy Frita and many other delicious family inspired dishes”.
