Christian Encalada
Christian Encalada, the executive chef of Divino Corp, who has enjoyed a successful career in his field, graduated from CENFOTUR (School of Peruvian and International Gastronomy) in Lima, Peru, where he achieved first place in the final cooking exam. He worked for Gastón Acurio at Tanta Restaurant for a season and then returned to Spain to improve his culinary style at a prestigious hotel.
Inspired by the great diversity of ingredients in Peruvian cuisine, Christian and his brothers combine the traditional ethnic attributes of Peruvian culture and modern cuisine.
Knowing the strong demand for discovering new Peruvian flavors to satisfy savvy customers’ needs, all efforts are constantly dedicated to serving traditional Peruvian Cuisine with an original twist. In 2016, Ceviches by Divino was opened after the success of Divino Ceviche, their first restaurant. Ceviches by Divino is a Peruvian-style Gastropub with an industrial ambiance and our distinct menu has been carefully crafted to highlight the authentic flavors of our cuisine by properly presenting high-level Peruvian Tapas, Rolls, Pokes as well as Ceviches.Our mission is to provide an inviting and relaxed atmosphere, perfect to chill with friends and family. Whether you are a foodie or just down to taste something unique, you can now experience genuine Peruvian flavors at our different locations throughout the United States. Ceviches by Divino is the continuation of the dream of three brothers: Christian, Richard and Frank Encalada, owners of Divino Corp.
