As hosts of the Pero…Let Me Tell You podcast, Darien & Ismael interviewed several of Miami’s hottest (and most delicious) restaurants and chefs over the course of 200+ episodes, all of whom began from humble beginnings to become some of this town’s premiere food destinations. That inspiration, combined with Darien’s passion for cooking and love of chicken wings, gave birth to Pin Pan Pollo. As two born and raised Miami boys, Darien & Ismael knew the key to Pin Pan Pollo’s success was creating a flavor that embodies the Magic City with just one bite. Thus was born their signature item, Miami’s only Guayaba y Queso wings.
Popping up at breweries all over town from Wynwood to Westchester, Pin Pan Pollo not only brings their signature flavor but also a spicy Korean, a white Alabama BBQ sauce lovingly called El Santero and their naked wings also known as The Haulover…for reasons that are obvious to any Miami native. Currently in their 3rd year with wings and now chicken sandwiches, Pin Pan Pollo’s goal is to continue bringing distinctly Miami personality with each new flavor introduced.
