Diahann Smith
Diahann Albarrán Smith is a marketing professional, enthusiastic cook and community volunteer. While not a trained chef, Diahann often “plays” one on TV and events representing Florida Dairy Farmers. She regularly shares her recipes and knowledge on national and local TV shows, events and via social media @floridamilk, @lechedeflorida and @diahanncooks. She began her career at the Orlando Sentinel where she helped launch the Spanish-language El Sentinel. Florida Dairy Farmers recruited Diahann to grow its Hispanic marketing outreach in Florida. She also collaborated with sister organization the U.S Dairy Export Council, to help market U.S. dairy in the Caribbean. In her current position as Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development for Florida Dairy Farmers, she develops and executes marketing strategies and partnerships to promote Florida dairy. She has volunteered with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando for over 15 years and serves on the Alumni Board for Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business where she completed her executive MBA.
