Jodrick I Ujaque
Chef Jodrick I. Ujaque, a proud Puerto Rican, serves as the creative force behind Chefs on the Run Gastro pub (COR Gastro Pub) in Homestead. Rooted in family tradition, he developed his foundational skills at esteemed locations such as Café Tu Tu Tango and Ortanique before becoming a 10-year veteran of the SoBeWFF.
In 2011, Chef Jodrick introduced South Florida to its first Caribbean-American gastropub, a groundbreaking concept fueled by his passion. With his bold, unforgettable flavors and clever fare—including his world-famous hamburger collection and signature Puerto Rican specialties—he has earned multiple awards, TV features, and culinary honors. Today, COR Gastro Pub is recognized as a South Florida destination, consistently named a South Florida Top 100 Restaurant for three years running (2024, 2025, & 2026).
