Maria Ealey
Born and raised in the cultural melting pot of Miami, Florida, Maria Ealey grew up in a big family with a love for food, especially the cherished recipes they passed down from generation to generation. She began cooking as a child in her mother’s kitchen, where she learned to make many traditional island and southern dishes. In that kitchen she developed her love for cooking as a child. As the youngest of four sisters, she began cooking for friends and family. Maria believes food connects us all, and she strives to communicate this through her work, her cooking, and in her daily interactions with others.
Maria created Bang’N Tacos through her passion for tacos. A mixture of her passion and popularity lead to catering opportunities with local leaders, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, religious groups, international recording artist Francine Murphy, and Miami Dade County’s Parks and Recreation.
Maria is also very active with several charities and not-for-profit organizations that reflect her passion for causes close to her heart, one of which is the monthly meal give back to the South Florida community.
