Bobby and Kat Palushaj are the dynamic brother-sister duo from New York behind South Florida’s biggest and freshest donuts, proudly serving the community since 2019. Their love for donuts began in childhood, when their mom would bring home a dozen from the local shop in the Bronx every Sunday, sparking a lifelong passion.
Bobby’s journey in the restaurant industry started 30 years ago with his first café in NYC, where he specialized in coffee and pastries. His passion for food and quality coffee led him and Kat to Florida in 2019 to launch The Hollywood Donut Factory. With two thriving locations in South Florida and plans for many more, their enthusiasm for donuts is spreading rapidly throughout the region.
Kat’s path began in corporate banking, working with firms like JP Morgan and Nasdaq for nearly 30 years. There, she honed her skills in connecting with people. Now, as the face of Hollywood Donuts, she focuses on building relationships with customers, creating amazing menu items, and ensuring everyone feels at home. Her motto, “walk in as a customer and leave as a member of the family,” truly reflects her commitment to the community.
