The event that put us on the map is back and better than ever as Festival favorite Emeril Lagasse takes center stage to present the most epic burger showdown to date – BAM! Join the larger-than-life chef and television personality under the North Venue’s iconic white tents – along with a passionate panel of judges including Robert Irvine, Phil Rosenthal, Nicole Gates, Jawan Strader, Ming Tsai, and Dave Portnoy – who’ll be on hand to crown one very talented chef with the coveted Schweid & Sons® The Very Best Burger Award. But that’s not all – YOU get to decide who wins the equally prestigious People’s Choice Award after indulging in this year’s carefully curated menu of over 30 mouthwatering burgers and side dishes prepared by some of South Florida’s most acclaimed chefs and restaurants. The vibe, you ask? Smooth country, thanks to a special performance from Midland, the Grammy-nominated group known for their signature sound, which Rolling Stone calls “a mix of George Strait, ‘Urban Cowboy’ and Seventies yacht rock.” Remember, it’s a marathon – not a sprint – so grab a drink, take a breath, and let your taste buds be your guide!
You must use an eligible Capital One Visa or Capital One Mastercard credit or debit card to purchase the Capital One Cardholder Early Access, which provides access 30 minutes prior to General Admission. Excludes Capital One issued private label cards. While supplies last.
All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
Beach wheelchairs will be available at the Welcome Center location at 13th Street and Ocean Drive.
