Executive Chef Brian Morris – Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
Nashville native Brian Morris grew up enjoying hot chicken with family and friends, but had no plans to one day serve Music City’s signature dish.
His culinary career led him to New York City, where he cooked at the iconic Le Cirque restaurant. Brian, classically trained, was also a private chef for several years. When he returned to his hometown in 2015, he joined the team at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken — with two restaurants at the time. Today, Brian leads culinary operations for the fast casual eatery’s 14 locations across five states.
Brian is an avid cyclist and bikes to work whenever possible. He is on the Advisory Board of Chefs Cycle, an annual endurance cycling event for culinary professionals that raises money and awareness for the No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Misty. Their son, Jack, recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
