Although wine has always been his calling, he worked in communication and marketing roles with Disneyland Paris, Renault, and Champagne Moet & Chandon. He is a Board Member and past Chair of the Wine Market Council, a Chevalier in the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, and a Cavaleiro in the Confraria do Vinho do Porto.
